General Co-Chairs:

MonaGhassemian has over 20 years of experience in the wireless and telecom research in industry and academia. She currently works as 6G principal expert on industry vertical, working on strategic R&D roadmap of key technologies relevant for next generation mobile communication system design at Huawei Advanced wireless Technology Lab. Prior to her current role, in her senior manager position at InterDigital Inc, she led a research team on the next generation networking. She worked as a principal research scientist at British Telecom Research and Technology with a focus on future networks and security. Prior to her industry roles, she worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer at KCL, Greenwich and SBU supervising over a 100 postdocs, PhD and MSc researchers. She has published over 70 papers, 13 patents, 2 book chapters and several contributions to 3GPP, IEEE and IETF standard organisations. She is a member of IEEE SA 1918.1 Tactile Internet WG, the IEEE UK & Ireland section past-chair and IEEE Region 8 standardisation sub-committee.

Mohammad S. Khan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, USA. He is also founding director of Network Science and Analysis Lab (NSAL). He earned his Ph.D., and Master’s degrees from the Speed School of Engineering at University of Louisville, Kentucky and his B.Sc., in Mathematics from University of Leicester in England. Dr. Khan’s primary area of research is in vehicular communications, wireless sensor networks, IoT, and computational intellegenceI. Dr. Khan has lead many Special Issue in his research related areas and currently serves as an associate editor in IEEE Access, IET ITS, IET WSS, Springer’s Neural Computing & Applications,  and Telecommunications Systems jorunals, and Elsevier IoT Jorunal. Dr. Khan has served as a reviewer or TPC members in 60+ International conferences and workshops including IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, IEEE LCN, IEEE VTC, Cyber-C, and many more. Furthermore, he has been reviewing papers in 50+ International Journals including IEEE Magazines on Intelligent Transport Systems, and Communications, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics and Vehicular Technologies.

Albena Mihovska has a PhD degree in EEng (2008) from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. She has a strong academic research track record as an Associate Professor at Aalborg University and Aarhus University, Denmark. She is a Research Director at CTIF Global Capsule (CGC) Foundation, Skagen, Denmark. Further, she holds positions as a CTO at SmartAvatar B.V., The Netherlands, and as a Senior Research Expert at the Research&Innovation&Development Consortium (RDIC), Sofia, Bulgaria. She is a WG3 Vice-Chair of One6G Association, a Board Member of EUROMERSIVE, IEEE R8 Standards Coordination Member, an ITU-T Focus Group on Metaverse (FGMV) Expert. She has more than 200 peer-reviewed research publications. She is Steering Committee Member of IEEE Black Sea Communications Conference, and IEEE WCNC (2006-2017).

Gautam Srivastava (Senior Member, IEEE) received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada. He is a Professor of Computer Science at Brandon University, Brandon, MB, Canada. In his 10-year academic career, he has published a total of 400 papers in high-impact conferences in many countries and high-status journals (SCI and SCIE). Prof. Srivastava is an Editor of several international scientific research journals, including IEEE Transactuions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal.
